Hyung Jun Kim, Vice President of Korea Aerospace Industries, LTD. was awarded the 5th Alumni Year Award of the College of Engineering on Dec. 2, 2021.
Mr. Kim took Master of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from KAIST in 1989 under the supervision of Prof. Chang-Sun Hong.
He worked as a principal engineer to develop the KT-1 basic training plane, T-50 advanced training plane, and FA-50 light armored fighter plane. Students and faculty members were enthralled by Mr. Kim's ceremonial lecture on 'Characteristics of aerospace industries and how to succeed in export' during the ceremony.
