Our department's hypersonic laboratory (advisor Gisu Park) was selected for the 2022 Space Challenge project, a national R&D project. The project title is ‘Development of a thermal protection system to protect spacecraft when entering the atmosphere’. Researchers at Seoul National University and Sejong University (Professor Kyu Hong Kim and Jae Gang Kim’s lab) conduct joint research as a participating institution.
