ACAI lab, led by Prof. Jihwan Choi, developed new techniques on LEO satellite network offloading/slicing for edge computing in the space. The network virtualization technologies can adapt to LEO satellite topology/mobility and wireless channel conditions for differentiated user needs and full resource utilization.
The results, co-authored by Taeyoun Kim, PhD student jointly working for ACAI lab and DGIST, and Prof. Jeongho Kwak at DGIST, were published in IEEE Internet of Things Journal (Impact factor 11.043) this August.
