KARI research team consisting of department alumni (Dr. Hoonhee Lee, Dongoo Lee, and Sung-Sik Heo) took the first place in SpaceNet-8 Challenge, a renowned international competition in the field of Satellite Utilization. The competition is to develop an AI algorithm that analyze satellite images to segmentize drivable regions.
