On November 9, 2022, our department and the School of Electrical Engineering jointly held a Space Robotics Workshop. Ten domestic and international speakers participated, including the director of the DLR Robotics Institute Dr. Alin Albu Schaeffer, and Dr. Terry Fong from the NASA AMES Research Center. The workshop served as a valuable time to understand the latest technology trends through the introduction of ongoing projects such as NASA's VIPER mission and DLR's MMX mission. More than 100 participants interested in Space Robotics registered for the event, and it was successfully completed through enthusiastic participation by speakers and audiences, with discussions lasting more than 30 minutes than the scheduled time.
