On December 14, 2022, the Department of Aerospace Engineering held the "2022 KAIST Space Technology Forum" (Han Jae-heung, head of the KAIST Space Research Institute).
This event was held to explore the direction of Korean space development and to share the vision and blueprint of KAIST Space Research Institute. About 80 domestic and international experts attended the forum, including President Lee Kwang-hyung, Head of the Space Research Institute Han Jae-heung, and Professor Dan Scheeres of CU Boulder; about 100 people joined via YouTube.
