Hyun-Ho Yang and Keon-Ik Jang, from KAIST AE’s Smart Structures and Hardware Systems Lab (Advisor: Jae-Hung Han), have won first place in the "2023 RecurDyn Simulation Competition" hosted by FunctionBay, Inc.
Their presentation topic was “Docking Simulation of On-Orbit Servicing Satellite with Robotic Arms," in which they analyzed the process of the OOS satellite capturing a target satellite using robotic arms.
RecurDyn is a comprehensive CAE dynamics analysis software that offers various functions such as control, fatigue analysis, and optimization, with multi-flexible-body dynamics at its core, spanning across different fields.
