On November 20, 2023, the AE department Intro.session was held for those who successfully freshman.
A total of 119 students participated and found it highly informative in learning about KAIST’s AE department.
Prof. Jung-Ryul Lee, the head of the department, encouraged students by saying, "I hope more young talents will join the rapidly growing aerospace field."
AE Intro.session provided insights into the latest trends in the aerospace industry, introduced various academic programs within the department, and offered information about student life, club activities, internship, and quiz. This allowed students to gain a firsthand experience of the academic environment in the aerospace engineering field.
One of the attending students mentioned that "I was hesitant on what major to pick specially because many people told me I won’t find a job in aerospace,but after the session I was certain to pick what I always wanted and interested in."
