Dr. Ji-Hun Cha, from our department's Smart Structures and Composite Materials Lab (Advisor Professor Chun-Gon Kim), won the College of Engineering's Outstanding Doctorate Thesis Award in the second half of 2023.
He researched composite materials that can shield the hazardous space environment, and based on these achievements, he was appointed to Chosun University in the second semester of 2023.
