Prof. Jae-Hung Han has been named a fellow of SPIE (the international society for optics and photonics) for outstanding contributions to smart structures and systems in shock and vibration control, and aerospace structures.
The certificate will be awarded at 2024 SPIE SS/NDE conference in Long Beach, CA in Mar. 2024.
SPIE, founded in 1955, is the most prestigious academic community for Photo-Optical Instrumentation Engineers and the larger optics and photonics community.
He is also an ASME Fellow, and a council member of ICAS (Int. Council for Aeronautical Sciences).
