On July 10, 2024, a seminar was delivered by Cheol-Ung Kim, Managing Director of Hyundai Motor Group's AAM Division, who is an alumnus of the Department of Aerospace Engineering. The seminar, entitled "Trends in the Aerospace Engineering Industry and Introduction to Supernal," discussed Hyundai Motor Group's AAM business and its future direction. Managing Director Cheol-Ung Kim diligently answered students' questions, providing them with an opportunity to learn about the industrial field.
Department Head Jeong-Ryul Lee encouraged the students, saying, "It is very precious to have an opportunity to meet alumni who are actively working in the industry. I hope this seminar helps students better understand the industrial field." Managing Director Cheol-Ung Kim, a former student of the late Professor Chang-Sun Hong, expressed his gratitude for spending valuable time with younger students during his revisit to KAIST after a long time.
