On November 18, 2024, the Department of Aerospace Engineering held its annual information session. The event featured a variety of engaging programs designed to give freshmen valuable insights into the department's research and career opportunities in the field. A highlight of the session was a special talk by Prof. Daniel J. Scheeres, a leading expert on asteroid systems, which gave students a glimpse into the exciting future of aerospace engineering. Additionally, faculty members introduced their research labs, creating an interactive and welcoming atmosphere that resonated with the students. One participant shared, “This was the most engaging and informative session I’ve attended recently. I’m determined to join the Department of Aerospace Engineering next year.” Department Head Jung-Ryul Lee encouraged the students. “Our department is poised for even greater heights. I hope many of you will pursue your dreams here and grow into future leaders of the field.”
