On Tuesday, May 13, 2025, the Department of Aerospace Engineering held its fifth seminar of the Spring 2025 semester, featuring Hyun Dae Kim, Director General of Aeronautics Innovation Directorate, Korea AeroSpace Administration (KASA).
Director General Kim delivered a lecture titled “Future Directions of Aeronautics R&D and the Role of KASA,” in which he introduced the research focus and strategic initiatives of both NASA and KASA. He also discussed the historical development of aircraft and provided insights into the future of advanced air mobility. In appreciation of his lecture, the department presented Director General Kim with a plaque of appreciation.
