On Saturday, May 16, 2026, the KAIST KSOP (KAIST Science Outreach Program for underprivileged gifted students) Career Mentoring Day was held. During this event, the Aerospace Robotics and Mechanisms Laboratory (ARML, led by advising professor Dae-Young Lee) from the Department of Aerospace Engineering hosted a laboratory introduction and hands-on experience program for middle and high school students.
The laboratory provided participants with lectures on origami-based space system research and hands-on space rover operation experiences. This program helped students explore and shape their future career paths by allowing them to directly experience a real-world research environment in the fields of aerospace and robotics.
