Guidelines for Candidate Recommendation: Upright Educator Award
○ Selection criteria*: This award is granted to an educator who has encouraged students to develop a sense of vocation and leadership skills based on the right values and rich experience while helping them think for themselves, dream big, and thus become talent with their unique visions and core values
○ Award details: A medal and prize money of 10 million won (given to one person)
○ Period of award: Period of service at KAIST
○ Recommended through or by:
- Joint signature by five or more graduates
- Joint signature by five or more persons among the faculty and staff members and students
- Dean of college, department head, undergraduate student body president, or graduate school student body president
○ Recommendation method: (See the attachment) Fill in the attached recommendation form and email it to us (evercho@kaist.ac.kr)
○ Recommendation deadline: January 21, 2022 (Friday)
※ Submissions are not allowed after the deadline
* Recommendation examples
- Any faculty member who has enthusiastically encouraged students to dream big and aim high with unbounded creativity and initiative to achieve their goals
- Any faculty member who has guided students to develop a sense of vocation in helping others and making a valuable contribution to society
- Any faculty member who has contributed to developing various values in students
- Any faculty member who has helped students develop their leadership skills
