Guidelines for 2023 Hong Chang Sun Scholarship Application
 
In order to create an educational environment where students can concentrate on their studies, the Hong Chang Sun Scholarship Committee of KAIST Aerospace Engineering Department will select the 2023 Hong Chang Sun Scholars as follows. We hope many interested students apply.

Year Degree Selection Process Awards Available Scholarship Value
2023 Undergraduate * Application Evaluation 2 1 million KRW / person
2023 Graduate
(Structural Mechanics)		 Application Evaluation 1 1 million KRW / person
*The scholarship is limited to students whose primary major is Aerospace Engineering and have earned at least 9 credits of the Major Subjects of the Aerospace Engineering Department

○ Award Description:
- If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a scholarship.
 
☐ Selection Process and Date
○ Selection process: Evaluation based on submitted application
- Selection criteria: Diligence, Future potential
○ Application period: February 6, 2023 ~ March 3, 2023
○ Application evaluation and recipient announcement: End of 3, 2023
○ The scholarship will be awarded: Early of 4, 2023.

○ 1 million KRW / person
※ The selected scholars will be notified on how the scholarships will be awarded.
 
☐ Application Process
○ Go to the website of the Aerospace Engineering Department of KAIST www.ae.kaist.ac.kr
○ Go to "News & Event" > "Department Notice" > Download the application form from [Application of the Hong Chang Sun Scholarship of the KAIST Aerospace Engineering Department]
○ Email the complete application to h153214@kaist.ac.kr by (Month) (Day), 2023.
○ You will need to submit :
1. Hong Chang Sun Scholarship Application Form (signed and scanned)
2. Academic Transcript※
3. Certificate of Enrollment
4. Consent Form for Collection, Use and Disclosure of Personal Information
※ Academic transcript of ALL academic records after admission
