On June 14, 2023, KAIST and KAI (Korea Aerospace Industries) signed an agreement for cooperation in industrial workforce empowerment.
The ceremony was attended by KAI President Kang Koo-young, KAIST President Lee Kwang-hyung, Department Head Lee Jung-ryul, and 28 professors and graduate students.
Through this agreement, KAI and KAIST will collaborate to train experts and share information in areas such as space, future aircraft, and AI technology research.
The event also provided a meaningful opportunity for master's and doctoral students to experience KAI's production sites.
