Laboratory Information

Welcome to the Laboratory for Advanced Materials and Processes (LAMP)! The LAMP was officially launched in April 2022 in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Republic of Korea. The LAMP aims to illuminate our understanding of the underlying physics of advanced materials and their manufacturing processes. We explore next-generation manufacturing processes that are tailored to the heterogeneous nature of advanced materials. In addition, we intend to utilize these innovative manufacturing processes to develop and implement aerospace materials that were previously difficult to achieve with conventional processes.
