INNOSPACE’s HANBIT-TLV, the first private space launch vehicle developed with the participation of the Flight Dynamics and Control Laboratory at our department (led by Professor Chang-Hun Lee), was successfully launched at the Alcantara Launch Center in Brazil on March 20, 2023 at 2:52 am. Our department focuses on the core technologies of new space, such as satellites, spacecraft, launch vehicles, Lunar/Mars landers, exploration robots, and re-entry technology, with the goal of establishing a Mars campus by 2050. With this successful launch, we have once again firmly established ourselves as a leading institution in the field of new space domestically and internationally.
