Neuromeka, a robot-manufacturing company, signs technology transfer agreement for ‘Soft Weaving Gripper’ developed in collaboration with KIST and KAIST.
Jong-Hun Park, the CEO of Neuromeka, stated, 'Weaving Gripper can manipulate irregularly shaped objects weighing several hundred kilograms or more quickly, in contrast to conventional gripper products using motors or pneumatic systems.' He further mentioned, 'We plan to utilize this technology not only for various picking tasks in process and kitchen automation but also for steel robot automation solutions.' Neuromeka plans to release related products within the year."
