On October 28 (Mon), the KAIST Department of Aerospace Engineering hosted the "KAIST AE – Quebec Aerospace Delegation Visit Workshop," gathering representatives to discuss Korea’s aerospace R&D ecosystem and explore collaboration in sustainable and urban air mobility (UAM). The workshop included 12 participants, including KAIST’s Department Head Jung Ryul Lee, Professor Sang Bong Lee, CRIAQ CEO Guillaume Cote, and Bongsuk Choi, Head of the Space Industry Team of Daejeon City.

The workshop focused on △understanding Korea’s aerospace R&D ecosystem △exploring international research and industry-academic collaboration opportunities in sustainable air mobility and UAM △expanding research exchange programs, including student exchanges and internships, and △developing additional collaboration channels through workshops and conferences. This workshop served as an important step in strengthening Korea’s global competitiveness in aerospace research and fostering innovation through international collaboration.
