- 2024 Spring Semester Orientation for Korean-Poland International Defense Cooperation

The Aerospace Engineering Department held an orientation for the Korea-Poland International Defense Cooperation Program on March 15th.
The event was organized for the Polish students who enrolled in the spring semester of 2024, sponsored by defense industry companies. Attending the event were approximately 25 domestic and international figures, including Hong Daniel Seungbum, Vice President of Office of Academic Afffairs at KAIST; Lee Jung-Ryul, Department Head of Aerospace Engineering; Kim Jung, Department Head of Mechanical Engineering, along with respective student advisors. Also present were Lee Sang-woo, a director from the Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA); Kim Hyun-soo, a senior manager from Hyundai Rotem; Song Nak-yoon, a deputy senior manager from Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI); and Ju Young-kyu, a senior manager from Hanwha Aerospace. They discussed the significance and direction of the defense cooperation programs between the two countries.
