Overview & Objective
The KAIST AE undergraduate program
focuses on aerospace system design in the “systems” aspect as the aerospace industry requires the fusion of multi-disciplinary subsystems. With this approach, students can learn fundamental understandings in physics, collaborations, practical engineering, and communication skills in balance.
Focus on education
- To inspire future aerospace leaders by developing strategically mission-related and innovative education programs
- To facilitate system-oriented education by offering various design courses in which students can learn hands on experience on aerospace and aerospace system design processes
- To strengthen students’ global competitiveness through international collaboration such as exchange-student programs, internships, and dual-major programs
Student Activity
We promote various international design/contest activities for undergraduate students.
- AIAA DBF(Design/Build/Fly)
- Intercollegiate Rocket Engineering Competition (IREC)
- NASA’s Revolutionary Aerospace Systems Concepts Academic Linkage (RASC-AL) Competition
- CubeSat/CanSat Mission Designs
