The freshmen at KAIST do not need to choose their majors as per the school’s policy. In the 2nd semester, students will choose their majors as aerospace engineering, and they can always transfer to aerospace engineering without any restrictions during their studies. The department assigns the initial advisor, and the students can change their advisors as they want from the 3rd year.
