Safety @ KAIST AEThe Department of Aerospace Engineering is striving to strengthen the safety of the laboratory, focusing on the following activities, so that students, researchers and professors can conduct research in a safe environment, focusing on the Department Safety Management Committee.
- In order to prevent safety accidents and to identify causes and establish countermeasures when safety-related issues occur, the department od head is operating the Department Safety Management Committee.
- Through Safety Walk Thru, we are conducting self-safety checks on laboratory and laboratory from time to time
- Based on the Safety Code that reflects the characteristics of the Department of Aerospace Engineering, we operate our own safety education program once per semester.
- We are educating students to strengthen their safety awareness and to systematize experimental procedures directly through Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) education.
- The department conducts regular inspections and precise safety diagnosis once a year.
- After the safety diagnosis, a safety management committee will be held in which all safety personnel in each laboratory and department safety management committee members attend, and necessary follow-up measures will be prepared.
