- Professor Sung Min Jo Appointed to the AIAA Thermophysics Technical Committee

Professor Sung Min Jo has been appointed as a Technical Committee member of the Thermophysics Group in the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). Over the next three years, he will serve as a technical committee member, taking on responsibilities such as organizing conference sessions, reviewing papers, chairing sessions, and evaluating candidates for best paper awards.
The AIAA Thermophysics Technical Committee consists of 40 members from academia, industry, and government, and addresses a wide range of thermal-fluid phenomena, including multiphase flow, hypersonics, and fluid-structure interactions. Professor Jo leads the Applied Aerothermodynamics Group and is actively conducting research in these areas, through which he is expected to make significant contributions to the committee.
