The hypersonic laboratory conducts various high-speed aerothermodynamic experiments. As ground-test facility, we have a series of shock tubes/tunnels and are developing various measurement technologies related to ground testing of high-speed objects. Research on various high temperature gas effects and aerothermodynamic characteristics of reentry space debris are also being studied.
